From the very first day they met, Shanelly and Mike never stopped talking. What began as an easy, natural conversation quickly turned into something deeper — a connection neither of them expected, but both felt right away. They bonded over their shared love for their nieces and nephews, their faith, and the little things that matter most. Being together felt effortless from the start, and time seemed to move faster whenever they were together. Early on, they noticed how often they thought alike — finishing each other’s sentences, sharing the same humor, and approaching life in similar ways. At the same time, coming from different walks of life gave them the chance to learn from one another, gaining new perspectives and seeing the world through each other’s lens. As time went on, their relationship grew into something steady and real, built on laughter, trust, and a deep sense of comfort. They found in each other not just a partner, but a best friend — someone to walk through life with and build a future beside. On a hike in Colorado, Mike asked Shanelly to be his wife. Later they discovered it was the exact one-year anniversary of her baptism — something Mike hadn’t planned, but which made the moment feel even more special. Now, they’re excited to continue that story together — building a life, a home, and a future filled with love.
